San Diego State University runs an event that invites prospective students to visit the campus and witness what students are working on. Explore SDSU is the event's name that culminates all schools and majors. Open Studios is where Graduate Students from the School of Art and Design present their works of art to prospective students.
Our client asked for a poster and social media poster that was serious but also maintained the liberty of creativity. With this in mind, I ventured into textured art and applied the colors of SDSU. I titled the event ENIGMA: shades of an Artist. Being an artist is not a clear path; we often free-flow into our artworks and speak from the heart. Thus, is what inspired me to make this piece.
