For this project, I was assigned to create a set of 6 illustrated instructions to teach someone a skill.
I chose to do Mexican sweet Gorditas from the state of Michoacan.
Gorditas originate from the state of Michoacan in Mexico. Indigenous to the state is the Purepecha people. To highlight the people that live in my families home state, I incorporated the imagery of the creation goddess Cuerauaperi.
